Greg Sarafian

Designer of products, experiences, and the psychology behind them. I believe in design that’s practical, purposeful, and delightful.

Born in New Jersey. Based in Austin, TX.

Welcome! I'm a design entrepreneur focused on crafting products and experiences that bridge the online/offline divide and bring humans together, in person. Currently, I'm architecting new experiences at DoorDash.

My design process is data-driven with strong product intuition at its core, leveraging years of experience in product design across consumer social with mentorship from top product leaders. My design philosophy is centered around a relentless focus on bringing people closer to one another, leveraging technology as a conduit for human connection, not a replacement for it.

Vintage Audio Player

Inspired by some of Dieter Rams’ most iconic work blending minimalist man-made light materials with rich accents from nature. Each element is intended to emulate a physical switch, knob, grabber, or piece of material, making it clear what can be interacted with. Layering creates more defined relationships between interface elements.

The waveform fluidly transitions as you advance to the next track, changing both the needle’s position and waveform’s shape. The dial allows for playback switching, rotating with the same motion as a mechanical dial. Listeners can see what’s up next and rearrange the queue with a swipe. In dark mode, each element dims and the wooden accents adopt an even richer stain.

Designed in 2022.
