River Dell Technology Department: Assistant IT Technician
Summers: 2016, 2017, 2018
Over my high school summers, I worked as an Assistant IT Technician at River Dell Regional School District's Technology department. My responsibilities included imaging Windows devices, assisting in installing and sustaining network devices, and assembling and installing various accessories throughout the campus.
Bitcamp: Sponsorship & Design
November 2018 - Present
Bitcamp is the University of Maryland's annual 36-hour hackathon. As a part of the sponsorship team my contributions to the event include procuring funds from sponsors through outreach to private sector, to community leaders, and to academia. Additionally, I work with the design team to formulate branding, marketing materials, web design and more.
River Dell Board of Education: Student Liaison
September 2017 - June 2018
I was selected by River Dell faculty as a student liaison to the board of education. At every district board meeting of the 2017-18 school year, I presented the latest accomplishments and concerns of the students. As a representative for the student body, I provided my own insight prior to decisions being made by the board.
Hack River Dell: Co-founder & Director of Public Relations, Sponsorships and Branding
June 2016 - January 2018
I am a co-founder of Hack River Dell, the first-ever student-run hackathon at my high school and at the time one of only ten high school hackathons affiliated with Major League Hacking in the United States. I was the director of Public Relations, Sponsorships, and Branding for both the inaugural and second-annual event (2016 & 2017). My contributions included gathering sponsors through outreach to private sector, handling miscellaneous logistics, and formulating design and branding for the website, social media, and apparel.
Terrapin Hackers: Member
September 2018 - Present
The Terrapin Hackers is the the University of Maryland's official hackathon team. As a member of the Terrapin Hackers, I engage in computer science projects and travel to compete in hackathons with the team.
